Food Safety Resources Reviews General Information
Overall Comments On Resource Reviewed: Positive Points of the Reviewed Resource: This material is an excellent training manual for a teacher. The student activities reinforce the subject matter in a fun and informative manner and provide an incentive towards continuing food safe practices. It also provides an excellent understanding of the importance of food safety. The training curriculum does require a good deal of preparation both by the extension educators and the family and consumer science teachers. A true commitment will be required for good results. This food safety education manual provides concrete examples in an easy-to-follow format, and does an excellent job of addressing major food safety issues in a manner that can reach pre-school through high school students.
